Hospital to Hold Open House   

Alleghany Regional Hospital will celebrate the opening of The Women’s Center with an Open House on Monday, October 29, from 4-6 p.m. The Women’s Center at ARH is a newly-renovated area located on the third floor of the hospital.  The Women’s Center houses the practice of Dr. Joanne Dudley, gynecologist, and will also offer hospital outpatient services such as mammography, ultrasound, and the new service of bone densitometry (studies that determine bone density).
 
“We are extremely pleased to bring these women’s services together in one location, states Tim Tobin, CEO, Alleghany Regional Hospital. “With the exception of obstetric services, The Women’s Center will offer a complete array of all other gynecological and women’s services with state-of-the-art technologies to meet the healthcare needs of our female population.”

The public is invited to attend the event, which will include tours of the new center and an opportunity to meet Dr. Dudley.  The Open House will also feature free health care screenings including blood pressure and a screening bone density study, educational materials, refreshments, giveaways and door prizes.
